ANNOUNCING 2023 Judges
We are excited to have two outstanding up and coming livestock evaluators join us at the SC Showdown
Ty Drach grew up on his family’s cattle and row crop operation in central Illinois. Ty and his family currently focus on raising and selling nationally competitive Simmental cattle. Ty first attended Black Hawk College East Campus, where he was a member of the 2022 Junior College Team of the Year. During this time, honors included being a 2022 All-American, and many top 10 finishes while capping the year off as High Individual at the Houston Livestock show and Rodeo. Ty is currently attending Oklahoma State University, as member of the livestock judging team and recently was the High Individual at the National Western. Currently working on a Bachelors degree in Animal Science with a Business option, Ty plans on pursuing a Masters and potentially PhD in either ruminant nutrition or meats science.
Caden Church is a southwest Oklahoma native where he and his family run an angus based commercial cattle operation and grow wheat. His home in Sentinel is now the base for Church Livestock where he raises and sells competitive show goats to youth exhibitors across the country. He traveled to El Reno, OK after graduation to compete on the Redlands Community College Livestock Judging Team. During his time at Redlands he had several top 5 individual showings, was a member of the Champion Team at the American Royal, and was named an All-American. Church now attends Oklahoma State University where he is a member of the livestock judging team and majoring in Animal Science.
